At Stryker, we’re seeking a Project Manager in R&D who thrives on driving results, leading cross‑functional teams, and delivering high‑quality outcomes. This dual‑role position leads New Product Development projects with a strong engineering focus while providing PMO analytics leadership, including metric analysis and PMO‑wide continuous improvement execution.

We require you to live within commuting distance to Stryker’s Flower Mound, TX office and to be onsite 2 days per week.

What You Will Do

Lead the development and execution of projects through charters, management plans, and detailed Gantt charts

Define project scope with stakeholders and create structured work breakdowns to guide execution

Monitor project budgets and ensure costs remain within approved limits

Develop a risk management plan for the project including appropriate risk response plan.

Assign and manage project team resources, clearly defining roles and deliverables

Build and execute stakeholder and communication management plans

Provide performance feedback to functional managers and support team development

Examine consolidated performance metrics of suppliers across the PMO and advise on continuous improvement opportunities

What You Will Need
Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field

Minimum 4 years of relevant project management experience

Proven ability to manage cross‑functional teams and complex timelines

Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Smartsheet)

High emotional intelligence and ability to stay calm under pressure. Adept in conflict resolution

Preferred Qualifications

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent

Experience in regulated or quality‑driven environments

Previous relevant engineering experience

Compensation

$98,200 - $163,700 USD Annual
