Job Title: Purchasing Associate - Jr
Location: Des Plaines, IL
100% Onsite / Long term Contract
Pay Range: $20/hr to $24/hr on W2
What's the Job?
Update material planning systems under supervision to ensure accurate data management.
Coordinate approval processes and monitor purchasing activities to maintain smooth operations.
Support planners and buyers by providing necessary administrative and logistical assistance.
Source, evaluate, and select suppliers and vendors to meet organizational needs.
Negotiate supply contracts and monitor the quality and timeliness of materials and services supplied.
What's Needed?
Basic understanding of procurement or supply chain processes.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to understand specific needs and requirements to apply relevant skills and knowledge.
Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
Proactive approach and willingness to learn and grow within the role.
