
Office Manager

Bonnerup Funeral Home in Albert Lea, MN is seeking a full-time Office Manager to oversee daily office operations and serve as the primary point of contact for families, visitors, and staff. This role helps create a welcoming and professional environment while supporting funeral directors and leadership with administrative, financial, and communication needs.
Responsibilities
Greet and welcome visitors; answer incoming calls
Provide information and direct inquiries to appropriate staff
Manage daily office operations and maintain a clean, organized environment
Oversee scheduling, calendars, and office coordination
Handle accounts receivable/payable and basic banking tasks
Maintain financial records and documentation
Organize and maintain files, documents, and records
Process insurance claims
Assist with data entry, reporting, and administrative support
Manage office supplies and place orders as needed
Support social media updates and online presence
Coordinate internal and external communications
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
Strong communication and customer service skills
Highly organized with the ability to multitask and prioritize
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Experience with basic accounting or banking tasks preferred
Familiarity with social media platforms is a plus
Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
Prior administrative or office management experience preferred
