OVERVIEW
The Tower foreman supervises and performs construction duties on a daily basis on telecommunication sites. Supervise subcontractors and job site personnel to complete the scope of work assigned. Must be able to follow instructions and complete assigned jobs timely and safely.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Providessuggestionsandrecommendationsforhiring,firing,andtrainingofemployees.
Providessuggestionsandrecommendationsforemployeeadvancements,compensation,promotions,production,efficiency,orother statuschanges.
Fullunderstandingofajob orproject scopeofwork(SOW).
Full understanding of method of procedures (MOP) and practices to perform the assigned job/project. Abilitytowrite a detailedMOP.
Schedulesemployeeworkandworkhoursforassignedemployees.
Directsandplanstheworkofassignedemployees.
Determinesproperprojecttechniquesforassignedemployees.
Maintainsjobrecordsfor useinmanagingorcontrol.
WorkwithSuperintendentorConstructionManagertodeterminematerials,equipment,andtoolstobeusedforassignedprojects.
Reads,interprets,andbuildsaccordingtodesignsiteplansandlayouts.
Controlstheflowanddistributionofmaterialsandsupplies.
Plansandcontrolsthejobbudgets.
ManagesalldatainBetacomtools(SiteManager)and customertools.
Ensuressafetyandsecurity ofemployeesandcompanyassets.
Performs inspection of entire installs. Troubleshootsproblems with installs. Captures and provides closeoutpackages.
Participatesandassistsinhandlingemployeecomplaintsandgrievancesaccording tocompanypolicyandlawfully.
Participatesandassistsinhandlingemployeediscipline andprobationaccordingtocompanypolicyandlawfully.
Takes full responsibility for crew safety. Ensures crew members are in compliance with company and customer safety requirements. Inspects all tools and rigging gear to ensure they are safe to use.
Reportsanyworkers'comp injuriesorotherincidents.
Other closely related work may include physical tasks and menial tasks such as timesheet and otherrecordkeeping,completingJobSafetyAnalysis,adjusting equipmentandtools.
Knowsthehazardsassociatedwithtowerclimbing,constructionequipment,andworkingonornearenergizedlinesandequipment.
Certificationwithalltestequipment(Anritsusweepgear,PIMgear,fibertesting,etc.).
Experiencedwithcustomtowerriggingtechniques.
Experienced with all manners of troubleshootinge.g., RET’s, GPS antenna system, RF noise floor, TMA gain,towerlight systems,VSWR,microwave systems,etc.).
Proficient with the completion of closeout packages.

QUALIFICATIONS
Must have High school diploma or equivalent.
