The Opportunity
Serve as a leaderon thecorporate development teamto drivethe entire deal lifecycle across strategy, valuation, financial modeling, and negotiation forjoint ventures, minority investments, and mergers and acquisitions. Be the primary interface for corporate development with the company's tech accelerator and corporate venture teams. Assistwith evaluating the broader corporate financial and market strategy of Booz Allen across our sectors. Leverage knowledge of corporate finance, accounting, and different business models such as services and software, to inform development of dynamic financial statement modeling and financial metrics. Assess strategic financial alternatives through merger consequences analysis, including accretion and dilution, leveraged buyout, discounted cash flow, sum-of-parts, public trading comparables, precedent transactions, and IRR or ROI returns modeling. Execute M&A and other inorganic investment and transaction processes in coordination with senior corporate and market leaders. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.
You Have
10+ years of experience as part of corporate development, investment banking, or strategic partnerships or growth investing with a focus on government contracting, aerospace and defense, cybersecurity, or technology
Experience structuring complex problems and alternative business models such as complex collaboration agreements or joint ventures, delivering insights and recommendations, and identifying key risks
Experience with complex financial modeling, including building operational P&Ls
Experience working with legal, finance, engineering, and executive teams
Experience with dual-use technologies, cross-functional stakeholder engagement, and cross-sector negotiation
Knowledge of the defense or government ecosystem, major commercial technology trends and players, and the operational, legal, and financial structures of complex business collaborations
Ability to scope and define strategy for various investment options for elevating relationships with inorganic targets, including from full M&A to minority investment or JVs, and providing recommendations to senior leaders
Ability to perform and supervise complex, dynamic, and assumption-based financial modeling in Microsoft Excel
Ability to synthesize large amounts of information, identify issues, recommend solutions proactively, prioritize work streams appropriately, and move among differing tasks quickly
Bachelor's degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $125,300.00 to $233,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
