Key Responsibilities
Perform First Article Inspection (FAI).
Conduct dimensional and electrical inspection of sub-assemblies or final systems assembly.
Perform quality control/release testing on products and incoming quality inspections and tests of raw materials as directed.
Perform dimensional and/or visual inspection against blueprints using gauges and other inspection equipment.
Perform quality control inspections in accordance with FDA, ISO, and other applicable regulations.
Review, analyze, inspect and archive Device History Records (DHRs).
Identify, document, segregate, evaluate and finalize disposition of non-conforming material.
Maintain compliance with a highly regulated environment for medical devices following Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
Communicate findings effectively in oral and written form to improve processes.
Work as part of a team, contributing ideas to improve processes.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Procurement, Distribution, Engineering, Quality, and Regulatory Affairs.
Meet schedule and overtime requirements as needed.
Minimum Basic Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required; Associates or Bachelors degree a plus.
2+ years of relevant experience required; experience with quality inspection in a manufacturing/production environment preferred.
Strong visual acuity and attention to detail required.
Ability to sit for extended periods of time required.
Ability to lift and maneuver up to 30 lbs regularly required.
