This role is at Spirit AeroSystems, Inc. a wholly owned subsidiary of The Boeing Company, supporting Spirit’s Commercial Business Units (“Spirit Commercial”). Spirit Commercial designs and builds commercial aerostructures, including for Boeing Commercial Airplanes, one of Boeing’s three business units and the premier manufacturer of commercial jetliners for decades. Spirit Commercial’s core products include fuselages, pylons, nacelles and wing components, with a focus on innovative composite and aluminium manufacturing solutions.
Position Responsibilities:
Responsible for synchronizing the supply chain to ensure goods and services are delivered on time, at the right location, and meet quality standards. This role partners closely with internal teams and external suppliers to drive supply chain performance.
Acts as an authorized agent of the company with responsibility for supplier management, including contracts, agreements, and purchase orders
Leads sourcing activities including RFQs, proposal evaluation, negotiations, contract awards, and post-award management
Interfaces with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure alignment on delivery, cost, and quality
Manages inventory levels, purchase orders, and supplier performance
Monitors demand and material flow to optimize supply chain planning and reduce variability
Serves as the supply chain focal for Integrated Product Teams
Supports execution of cross-functional supply chain processes and business initiatives
Applies process improvement and problem-solving techniques to drive efficiency and resolve issues
Collaborates across functions to support planning, execution, and continuous improvement
Operates effectively in a fast-paced environment while demonstrating sound judgment and leadership
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
5+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, logistics, or related field, preferably in aerospace or manufacturing
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Analytical mindset with ability to interpret data and drive decisions
High School Diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience
MBA or advanced degree a plus
Strong data analysis capabilitiesExperience with MRP systems, SAP preferred
Knowledge of manufacturing processes and supply chain optimization principles

Summary Pay Range - Mid-Level (Level 3): $73,050 - $112,000
