Working Foreman-Commercial Siding

*Summary/Objective*
As a Siding Foreman, you are responsible for the final outcome of each job and your crew. You are a job site manager as well as a people manager. It is your decisions that will determine the outcome of each and every job that you do
*Essential Functions*
* Maintain employee and site safety in OSHA compliance
* Proper installation of all new siding systems as specified
* Direct the crew; instruct employees, assign and allocate work
* Document project progress and activities
* Fill out daily service sheets and safety reports
* Maintain good customer relations
* Responsible for crew production and quality of workmanship
* Requisition of additional materials
* Responsible for company issued equipment
*Competencies*
* Preferably bilingual in English and Spanish but not required
* Experience in managing employees
* Experience installing siding (including Hardie Siding, Nichiha), metal wall panels and/or vinyl siding
* Strong carpentry skills
* Good people skills / Communication skills
* Ability to read and interpret specifications and drawings
* Solid math and writing skills
* OSHA 30-hour certification
*Work Environment*
This job operates in the field, on jobsites. Work can be physically demanding involving heavy lifting, as well as climbing, bending, walking, and kneeling frequently. Occasional lifting or moving construction related products and supplies, up to 50 pounds. Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather, particularly when making repairs is required. Regular business hours for this position include a Monday through Friday work week and times range depending on season. There is expectation of availability for overtime to meet project deadlines as needed. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

Local travel around Central Ohio to and from job sites and company headquarters
*Required Education and Experience*
Minimum of 3 years of experience in roofing, exteriors, or related construction experience.
