Williams & Helde Inc. is seeking a Client Business Manager to join our Account Service team in Seattle.
Founded in 1969, WH is an independent marketing communications agency built on long‑term relationships, thoughtful work, and a belief that the strongest brands earn preference by showing up in ways that are useful, credible, and welcome. After more than five decades of evolution, we are entering a moment of real momentum. Our foundation is strong, our point of view is clear, and we are poised for continued growth with the right people around the table.
We partner with what we call awesome brands, many operating in B2B and professional‑influence environments, that add real value to the world. Our work blends brand strategy and integrated communications using an Inspire and Inform approach, guided by deep understanding of the Performance Lifestyle Consumer (PLC) and how trust is built over time.
The role
This is a senior, client‑facing role for someone who brings confidence, clarity, and strong project leadership.
As a Senior Account Manager, you will serve as a primary day‑to‑day partner for clients, manage complex integrated programs, and help guide both internal teams and client stakeholders through strategic and executional work. You will be expected to think beyond task completion and contribute to how engagements are shaped, managed, and improved.
This role requires a strong commitment to project management, clear writing, and steady leadership. You will be trusted to own details, timelines, and delivery while supporting higher‑level thinking and maintaining WH’s standard of care and quality.
What you will be doing
Acting as a senior client contact and trusted advisor
Leading project and program management for multiple accounts
Managing scope, timelines, budgets, and resourcing using Workamajig
Writing and reviewing briefs, recommendations, and client communications
Partnering with strategy, creative, PR, and media teams to guide work collaboratively
Helping clients navigate decision‑making with clarity and confidence
Supporting more junior Account Service team members through example and mentorship
Ensuring our work consistently reflects our commitment to becoming our clients’ most trusted resource
Projects may include brand and communications playbooks, integrated campaigns, PR‑led programs, content, social and email marketing, video, and digital advertising. The work is varied, non‑repetitive, and requires comfort with complexity.
Experience and capabilities
5 or more years experience in an agency or agency‑like environment
Proven strength in project and program management, not just coordination
Direct experience using Workamajig as a primary PM tool
Strong writing skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and persuasively
Experience managing integrated marketing programs across channels
Comfort working with B2B, technical, or professional audiences, including regulated or expert‑driven categories
Confidence using AI tools to support planning, research, organization, and efficiency
Proficiency with MS Office and modern collaboration platforms
Strong business acumen and comfort engaging with senior client stakeholders
