Supply Chain Associate – Early Careers Development Program 2026
Engage and develop proficiency in all major areas of the WestRock Supply Chain with demonstrated knowledge surrounding Procurement, Logistics and Product Planning.
Responsibilities
Develop a broad understanding and base of the supply chain functions. Able to plug and play into all entry level roles within Supply Chain along with a strong understanding of processes.
Understanding of upstream and downstream supply chain.
Develop production plan for BU.
Lead S2C processes (Source, Negotiate, Contract).
Lead P2P processes (cradle to grave order processing).
Understand and manage Inventory levels (both Finished Goods and MRO).
Understand the papermaking process at a high level.
Shadow current leaders within Supply Chain.
Develop leadership abilities through cross functional engagements.
Lead small to mid-level initiatives across Supply Chain.
Successful completion of a Yellow Belt/Green Belt Six Sigma project & certification.
Proficient in JDE, SAP/4HANA, Panther, Load Xpert.
How you will impact WestRock
The two-year program consists of a series of rotations designed to explore different supply chain functions and aspects of the paper and packaging industry.
Rotations are selected based on business need and can be anywhere within the United States.
This role as a Process, Production or Project engineer has multiple responsibilities including continually exploring opportunities to optimize production, improve quality, and reduce cost.
The ECD Rotational Associate may also support projects in Supply Chain and Logistics, Sustainability, Safety, R&D, and/or special assignments.
What you need to succeed
Education:
Required: Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or have completed a Bachelor’s in Supply Chain Management or a related field by June 2024.
Preferred: Minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 GPA.
