About the Role
We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Production Scheduler / Buyer to join our team in a fast‑paced glass manufacturing environment. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring our production runs smoothly by coordinating schedules, managing material flow, and supporting purchasing activities.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working closely with operations, solving problems, and making an immediate impact—with the potential to grow into a longer‑term role.

What You’ll Do
Production Scheduling

Plan and manage daily and weekly production schedules

Coordinate with production teams to meet customer delivery timelines

Sequence work to improve efficiency, reduce downtime, and minimize waste

Adjust schedules based on production needs, equipment availability, and priorities

Help ensure smooth flow across all production processes

Purchasing & Materials

Order raw materials (glass, interlayers, packaging, and supplies) needed for production

Track orders and ensure materials arrive on time

Work with suppliers to manage deliveries and resolve issues

Help maintain the right balance of inventory—avoiding shortages and excess

Partner with operations, quality, engineering, and shipping teams

Communicate schedule changes and material updates clearly

Help identify and improve inefficiencies in scheduling and material flow

Data & Systems

Use ERP/MRP systems to manage schedules and purchasing activity

Track key metrics like on-time delivery, inventory levels, and production performance

Analyze data to support better decision‑making

What We’re Looking For

2–5 years of experience in scheduling, planning, or purchasing in a manufacturing environment

Experience working with ERP/MRP systems

Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced setting

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Preferred (Nice to Have)

Experience in glass manufacturing or similar production environment

Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement

Experience working with suppliers and procurement processes
