Numerical Control Programmer – Salt Lake City, UT
Boeing Commercial Airplanes is seeking a Numerical Control Programmer to support Metals machining, including High Speed 5 axis machining of soft metals in Salt Lake City, UT.

Position Responsibilities

Establishes technical requirements for manufacturing and producibility.

Plans, creates, verifies and revises Machine Control Data (MCD), geometry and documentation that directs the operations for a complete spectrum of numerically controlled equipment required to manufacture and inspect parts, tools and assemblies for departmental work.

Identifies equipment and approaches, coordinates and assigns work and trains/mentors others.

Works under minimal direction.

Provides numerical control, machining and programming technical experience.

Plans and guides the development and integration of new machining techniques and manufacturing methods, processes, software and equipment.

Basic Qualifications

1 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

1 or more years' Experience in Numerical Control programming.

1 or more years' Experience with programming using CATIA V5.

Preferred Qualifications

5 axis programming in V5 CATIA.

CATPart creation.

CATProduct creation and assembly functions.

High speed machining.

Vericut simulation.

Debugging and troubleshooting.

Tool creation and library management.

Configuration management principles.

3 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Shift
This role is primarily first shift; however, there may be additional shift requirements to support program objectives.

Pay Range

Associate (Level 2): $83,300 - $112,700

Mid-Level (Level 3): $100,300 - $135,700
