Lawn Maintenance Foreman
Lawn Management Company (LMC) is searching for a Landscape Maintenance Foreman for its Central Houston branch to oversee and lead the performance of a variety of lawn care maintenance services for our commercial clients. The position is full-time, benefit eligible, and we pay weekly.
Duties and Responsibilities
Oversee and perform routine landscaping maintenance and projects.
Supervise and assist in mowing, trimming/edging, blowing and flower bed cleaning/maintenance.
Operate lawn care equipment such as mowers, string trimmers, edgers and blowers.
Ensure crew is trained in use of equipment and LMC standards for lawn care maintenance and landscaping.
Record work hours in company system via a company‑supplied smartphone application.
Enforce safety policy on the job site by ensuring all crews wear appropriate PPE, identifying hazards, and ensuring crews are aware of risks and mitigation.
Drive a truck with crew from site to site, organizing work and staging crew at starting positions for a coordinated meet upon job completion.
Motivate crew to complete tasks within the time allotted.
Qualifications
3 years of landscape/lawn care maintenance experience, with at least 1 year of crew supervision.
Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record and ability to pass pre‑employment background and drug screening.
Bilingual – English/Spanish is a must.
Knowledge of regional plants, shrubs, and flowers and their care.
Knowledgeable in worksite safety, hazard recognition, and use of proper PPE.
Ability to read and follow a work schedule and work orders.
Dependable and punctual attendance required.
Familiarity with hand tools commonly used in landscaping.
Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and organized work area.
Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs and walk 10+ miles a day.

Certified Arborists
LMC is seeking qualified Certified Arborists with BS degrees in forestry, urban forestry, or related fields of study. These positions require a valid driver’s license. Candidates should be passionate about trees and community stewardship.
Climbers
Position requires climbing to large trees to perform pruning, trimming, and removal. Minimum 1–2 years of field experience and good knowledge of tree trimming are required. Must be capable of working without supervision when necessary. Bilateral communication skills in English and Spanish required.
Field Manager
Supervises maintenance crews and corresponding commercial properties. Reports to the Branch Manager regarding scheduling, production, safety, capital assets, and fleet management. Assists the Branch Manager with estimating new business and with training, coaching, performance evaluations, hiring, and disciplinary actions.
