Brief Description
Oak Street Health’s Graduate Behavioral Health Specialist Fellowship is a 12‑month paid training program that provides all the necessary skills, support, and learning required to become a highly confident and competent clinician for older adults.
Role Description
The program is based on Oak Street Health’s revolutionary collaborative care model in a value‑based setting, rewarding quality of care over quantity. Fellows build knowledge of evidence‑based interventions and psychotropic medications, earn clinical supervision hours from a licensed clinical social worker, and engage in didactic content that builds on, not repeats, graduate training. All fellows will work at Oak Street for 24 months following the completion of this program, and the goal is to continue their careers at Oak Street improving community health across the country.

Admission Requirements
Family, Adult, or Adult‑Gerontology Social Worker who have already graduated or will graduate from their training program.
Willingness to work in the assigned location for the duration of the program.
Minimum GPA of 3.0 in MSW program.
Active, non‑probationary state lower‑level social work license in the state where they will be working.
Selection Timeline
First‑round interviews conducted as applications are received.
Second and third‑round interviews conducted virtually or in person based on applicant preference.
Final decisions delivered as they are made.

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is $51,256.00 – $111,351.00. This represents the base hourly rate or base annual salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. Actual base salary offers will depend on experience, education, geography, and other factors.
