Overview
Innsbrook is a privately owned exclusive club in Northwest Indiana fearuting a championship Langford designed course. Innsbrook strives to be the premier club in the NWI region each and every year. The golf course has a vibrant playing membership with weekly mens and ladies league during the summer months and total 17,000 rounds per year. Innsbrook is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional with the ability to provide a high level of personalized service to all members and guests. Duties will include assisting in coordinating golf events, providing golf instruction and assisting with daily operations. The successful candidate must be enthusiastic, motivated and possess an excitement for the golf business. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone seeking growth as a Golf Professional at a high end private faciliy. There will be ample opportunity to teach private lessons and clinics as well as play golf with the Innsbrook members.
Experience Required
PGA/LPGA member or PGA Associate (not required)
Golf Shop experience preferred
Bachelor degree preferred but not required
Experience with Golf Genius
Knowlegable of the Rules of Golf
Demonstrate competent playing ability
Must bring positive energy on a daily basis
Must have excellent communication, computer and customer service skills
Essential Responsibilities
Assist Professional Team in all aspects of the golf operations
Work harmoniously with all members and staff -- this includes both the golf staff and the staff from other departments
Assist in coordinating all golf events
Assist with daily golf shop activities
Assist with merchandising activities and inventory control
Play golf with members
Monitor pace of play when necessary
Enforce Club rules and regulations
Must have a complete understanding of Innsbrook's Mission Statement and Core Values
