About This Role
We’re seeking a Network Architect to serve as the technical authority for network design, security strategy, and infrastructure standards across Crusoe’s global footprint of data centers, power plants, and corporate environments.
In this role, you will define and govern the architectural vision for Crusoe’s network stack; spanning traditional IT, cloud, and industrial systems (IoT, OT, PLC, SCADA). You’ll ensure our networks are secure, resilient, and scalable while enabling rapid deployment of compute infrastructure aligned with our energy-first model.
This is a high-ownership role with direct influence over platform selection, security posture, and how network infrastructure evolves at scale.

Owning end-to-end network architecture across production and corporate environments, defining standards for IT, cloud, and industrial network domains
Designing and enforcing network security strategy, including frameworks, risk assessments, and audit readiness across all sites
Developing and maintaining comprehensive architectural documentation including network diagrams, IP schemas, rack elevations, and logical topologies
Providing architectural oversight for infrastructure builds, including Bill of Materials (BOM) review, vendor selection, and procurement alignment
Driving platform strategy across the network stack, evaluating new technologies and aligning tooling with long-term architectural principles
Acting as the highest-level escalation point for complex network issues, identifying root causes and designing durable solutions
Partnering cross-functionally with Security, IT Operations, Construction, and Power teams to translate business needs into scalable network designs
Establishing governance processes for change control, documentation standards, and architectural consistency across all deployments
What You’ll Bring to the Team
8+ years of progressive network engineering experience, including 3+ years in an architecture or principal-level role
Demonstrated experience owning network architecture across complex, multi-site environments including data centers, industrial facilities, and corporate networks

Experience with high-performance networking for AI/ML or HPC workloads (e.g., RDMA, InfiniBand, low-latency fabrics)
Experience supporting infrastructure in energy, industrial, or edge compute environments
Background in high-growth or startup environments scaling global infrastructure
