Position Overview
GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Security Shift Supervisor - Corporate Campus.

Responsibilities and qualifications are outlined below. Candidates must be at least 21 years old, hold an active driver's license and a state security license, complete 32 hours of BSIS training, and have at least 2 years recent corporate security supervisor experience.

Site Location: Santa Clara, CA

Set Schedule: Full time, 32 hours per week

Saturday / Sunday, 2:00 pm – 10:30 pm

Monday / Tuesday, 10:00 pm – 6:30 am

Competitive hourly wage of $34 / hour (DailyPay for employees)

Responsibilities

Supervise shift operations: training new officers, conducting post checks, scheduling to ensure zero dark posts.

Provide customer service: welcoming, verifying identity, guiding visitors.

Manage access control.

Ensure security services meet highest standards and represent GardaWorld as premier provider.

Respond to operational emergencies, coordinate communication, and produce accurate reporting.

Direct, supervise, and support shift officers.

Maintain logs, records and post orders.

Develop and maintain effective relationships with client staff and serve as liaison between GardaWorld, the client, and assigned staff.

Maintain goal of zero safety incidents while fostering a robust safety culture.

Handle corrective action and discipline of subordinate officers, including warnings and participation in disciplinary decisions up to termination.

Conduct regular patrols to identify potential risks.

Supervise and manage employees on your shift at the assigned job site.

Inspect security equipment and report maintenance needs.

Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams.

Answer questions in person or by phone.

Write incident reports and communicate security concerns.

Ensure safety and protection of individuals and property.

Qualifications

State security license and 32‑hour BSIS security trainings (additional trainings may be obtained during hiring).

Authorization to work in the U.S.

Documentation of high‑school diploma or GED.

Minimum of 2 years recent corporate security supervisor experience.

Active driver's license.

Successful completion of extensive screening process.

Exceptional customer service skills.

Proficient in basic phone & computer skills.

Experience in security, military, or law‑enforcement beneficial.

Employment is contingent on the successful completion of a background check and drug screening after an offer of employment is extended.
