Responsibilities
Implement resident care plan
Provide direct nursing services, including administering treatments and assisting in assessments and evaluations
Assist with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
Delegate suitable components of the care plan to nursing assistants; provide guidance and supervision when necessary
Consult with colleagues and validate data
Record pertinent information in the patient record
Identify and evaluate residents’ responses to health problems and treatments
Communicate residents’ care needs to other care team members
Assume responsibility for professional growth and development
Perform other duties as assigned by the director of nursing
Requirements
Nursing License required
