Granger Medical Clinic is seeking a
Full-Time Registered Nurse
to join our team, serving both our Bountiful and Tooele locations. This is an immediate opening for a skilled and adaptable nurse who thrives in a collaborative clinical environment.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a high level of competence in a medical office setting, with the ability to work independently while maintaining strong collaboration with providers and staff. This role requires excellent problem-solving skills, effective prioritization, adaptability to change, and a consistent display of professionalism. The ability to quickly learn and utilize new technologies is essential.
Schedule
40 hours per week
Primarily based in the Bountiful clinic
Must be willing to travel to the Tooele clinic at least one day per week (mileage reimbursement provided)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong verbal and written communication skills with physicians, staff, and patients
Ability to delegate tasks effectively and support team workflow
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Ability to exercise sound clinical judgment
Proven customer service, multitasking, and communication skills
Team-oriented with a positive, patient-focused attitude
Basic computer proficiency required
Essential Functions and Duties
Collaborate with and support clinical staff to deliver high-quality patient care
Promote clear and effective communication within the clinical team
Work closely with physicians, PAs, and support staff to provide patient care, including rooming patients, assisting with procedures, performing telephone triage, and maintaining exam rooms
Serve as a scribe by accurately documenting patient encounters in the electronic medical record
Administer injections, including topical anesthesia
Ensure proper cleaning and sterilization of instruments
Contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment
Assist in planning and promoting community skin cancer screenings
Perform additional duties as assigned
Education and Experience
Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Utah
Minimum of two years of nursing experience preferred
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Repetitive motion associated with computer and office equipment use
Work performed in a climate-controlled indoor environment
