Summary
Responsible for preparing components for the molding process, running a molding press on our epoxy molding production line, and ensuring the highest level of quality of all parts produced.
Essential Functions
Keep up with production paperwork (work orders)
Prepare components for molding
Inspect components prior to molding
Load multiple components into the mold
Start and monitor the molding cycle
Unload parts from the mold when molding is complete
Inspect, de-flash, and patch the molded parts
Pack and identify completed parts
All other duties as assigned
Requirements
Attention to detail and organizational skills needed
Must be able to lift as much as 50 lbs. several times a day
Must be able to stand for the vast majority of the shift
Must be able to operate small handheld tools on a regular basis
Must be able to visually inspect machined parts as well as gauge them utilizing several types of hand-held gauges
Must be able to perform manual work in a non-climate-controlled factory setting
Must be available to work overtime hours on a shift or mandatory Saturday overtime
Must be18 years of age or older
2nd Shift is M-TH, 4X10hr shifts, 4:45 pm – 3:15 am.
All employees are expected to work overtime hours as needed.
Overtime is typically twice a month on Fridays and are 8-hour shifts.
