Our client, a leader in high-tech manufacturing, is seeking a dedicated Machine Operator to join their dynamic team. As a Machine Operator, you will be an essential part of the manufacturing department supporting precision machining operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, problem‑solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Machine Operator
Location: Newark, DE
Pay Range: $18 - $25/hr
Shift: 1st Shift
What's the Job?
Set up, operate, and monitor CNC and manual machining equipment to produce high‑precision parts.
Perform troubleshooting and adjustments to ensure optimal machine performance.
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to meet specifications.
Conduct inspections of machined parts, ensuring quality standards are maintained.
Maintain accurate documentation of production and inspection reports.
What's Needed?
Minimum of 2+ years of experience operating and setting‑up CNC Machines.
Proficiency in working with CNC Lathes, Mills, and manual machinery required.
Experience with micrometers and understanding of G & M Code Programming is preferred.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Technical machining certification or degree is a plus.
