Qualifications
Our ideal Plasma Processor has great organizational, computer, and trouble‑shooting skills, is comfortable being exposed to extreme temperatures, and meets the following requirements:

High School diploma or GED

Ability to work a flexible schedule

Interest in making a difference in the world

Effective organizational, computer, and troubleshooting skills

Comfortable with exposure to extreme temperatures and biological fluids

Primary Responsibilities

Collect and process donor samples for processing and testing.

Record weight of product and samples.

Label samples and freeze units for final packing within required timeframe.

Packs units for final shipment; prepares shipping box to send samples to the testing lab.

Monitors stored products and reports working conditions of equipment.

Maintains active communication and ensures quality standards.

Occupational Demands
Work is performed in a plasma center, exposing individuals to biological fluids with potential infectious organisms, electrical office and laboratory equipment, and extreme cold below 32°F while working in a plasma freezer. Personal protective equipment such as protective eyewear, garments, gloves, and cold‑gear is required. The role involves standing for 4 to 6 hours per day, bending and twisting the neck and waist for 1–2 hours per day, frequent hand and foot movements, squatting, crouching or sitting on one's heels, walking up to 2 hours per day, light lifting of 15 lbs, and occasional lifting of 25–35 lbs, up to 50 lbs maximum. Hearing acuity and color vision requirements as specified.
