Job Title
Western Massachusetts Electric Company – Substation Construction Department – Electrician
Key Responsibilities
Perform shift work, including overtime and emergency tasks. Participate in construction of substation projects. Report to substations across Western Massachusetts. Work in teams of 2 to 5 electricians. Assist with storm restoration assignments for larger storms in Western Massachusetts and other Eversource areas.
Qualifications
Must hold a valid Massachusetts Journeyman’s Electrician license (or equivalent). Must have a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, CDL, and Hazmat endorsement (or the ability to obtain). Must pass the CAST Test. Must be available for overtime, emergency work, inclement weather, and work outside the assigned district. Must be willing to work at job sites and travel across the Western Massachusetts territory.
