Industrial Service Electrician
Full-Time | Local Position | $25–$35 per hour

Job Summary
IEG is seeking skilled

Industrial Service Electricians —either

Journeymen

or

Apprentices with at least three years of industrial electrical experience . This is a full‑time, direct‑hire, locally based role with some travel required, but it is not strictly a traveling electrician position. We are looking for dependable professionals capable of working independently and excelling in fast‑paced industrial environments.

Ideal candidates are:

Able to work with minimal supervision

Highly technical and versatile

Comfortable handling multiple tasks and priorities

Experienced in industrial environments

Capable of training and mentoring newer electricians

Required Knowledge
Candidates should have solid understanding of:

NEC Code

Running electrical jobs of varying sizes

Feeder sizing requirements

Tooling needs for industrial projects

PPE requirements and electrical safety practices

Lighting systems, transformers, motor controls, and switchboards

Required Skills
Candidates must be proficient in:

Electrical wiring

Threading, bending, and installing EMT and rigid conduit (½"–4")

Using Microsoft Office, Outlook, and ERP systems

Applying mathematical skills for electrical calculations

Reading and interpreting sketches, blueprints, drawings, and specifications
