Field Service Technician - Electrical
Greater Cleveland (Travel Required)
$20-30 Per Hour + Overtime Opportunities (Time and a Half) + Medical + Dental + Vision + 401k + Travel Expenses Covered
Excellent opportunity for someone with electrical troubleshooting or testing experience to join a well‑established electrical manufacturing company. This role involves carrying out equipment testing, servicing, and maintenance on Power Distribution equipment such as Switchgear, Transformers, and Circuit Breakers at client sites across the eastern and northeastern USA.
Responsibilities
Travelling to sites across the Eastern and Northeastern USA (stay‑aways expensed by the company)
Working on a variety of LV & MV Power Distribution equipment e.g. Switchgear, Circuit Breakers, etc.
Troubleshooting to identify component and wiring issues with products
Carrying out electrical safety tests e.g. HiPot
Qualifications
2+ years' experience in electrical troubleshooting, testing, or fault‑finding for power distribution or similar equipment
Working knowledge of equipment used in Power Distribution e.g. Switchgear, Transformers, Circuit Breakers, etc.
Comfortable with staying away from home
Clean driving license
