Our interdisciplinary team supports families with children (0-3 years) who have or are at risk for developmental delays or disorders with a dyadic relationship-based approach. We practice cultural humility as we develop relationships with families, and grow in our understanding of their values, beliefs, priorities, routines, sources of stress, goals and intervention needs. Our overarching goal is to strengthen the mutual enjoyment of daily activities and interactions between children and their caregivers, while attending to specific delays and challenges.
We employ parent support, coaching and education, and, as needed, direct work with children. While attending to all domains of development, the OT focuses on motor, feeding and sensory integration aspects of the child’s treatment plan.
