Radar Systems Engineer
to support one of our federal customers' portfolio of Sensors, Effectors & Mission Systems (SEMS) and Mission Integrated Command and Control (MIC2). These areas focus on advanced defense technologies, including radars, electronic warfare, AI-enabled command, control, and integrated weapon systems. These roles are located in either Moorestown, New Jersey or Syracuse, New York.
Responsibilities
Support the architecture, design, CONOPS, requirements development, analysis, and implementation of high-performance Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) radar systems.
Support design and development, evaluation, and technical assessment of radar performance.
Represent the organization on contracts and interface with internal and external customers, program and senior leadership, and multidisciplinary engineering teams on significant technical matters.
Qualifications
Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, Physics or equivalent.
Radar signal‑processing, algorithm development, and AESA hardware/beam‑forming expertise; extensive MATLAB/Simulink modeling and performance analysis.
Requirements definition, verification, and system architecture using DOORS/MBSE, SysML, and trade‑study techniques.
High proficiency in C++, Matlab, Python.
End‑to‑end subsystem integration and test‑plan creation for radar‑system verification.
Secret Clearance or higher Required.
Level 5 (14+ years experience, Subject Matter Expertise Preferred)
Level 4 (9-13 years experience, Subject Matter Expertise Preferred)
Level 3 (5+ years experience)
Level 2 (2-5 years experience)
Compensation
Pay Range: $130,000 - $220,000 (based on years of experience and education)
