Overview
The Certified Nursing Assistant performs patient-oriented procedures under the supervision of a RN, LPN, and/or physician.
Responsibilities
Direct patient to proper exam/treatment room; prepare patients for examinations and procedures
Take vital signs, and document patients’ reason for appointment
Assist physician with procedures as directed
Instruct patients in all appropriate procedures
Qualifications
High School diploma or GED
7 – 11 months related experience and/or training
