This position is 4 days/week Monday to Thursday 5am to 3pm
Responsibilities
Supervise, plan, and coordinate maintenance operations on assigned shift and in area(s) of responsibility to maximize equipment availability, productivity and reliability and maintain an effective machinery maintenance program.
Ensure quality of work, proper use and care of equipment and machines, and proper application of maintenance repair methods.
Select and train employees in maintenance operations.
Evaluate work performance and counsel and coach employees to maintain safe and efficient work performance.
Organize and assign completion of maintenance work orders, utilizing employees' knowledge, skills, and abilities to the best advantage to expedite repairs and provide optimum cost-effective equipment reliability.
Maintain close observation over repairs, providing guidance to employees concerning proper maintenance techniques.
Troubleshoot equipment or machine problems and take appropriate corrective action to ensure equipment is repaired and returned to proper working order in a timely manner.
Assign completion of scheduled inspections and work orders according to the maintenance schedule and maintain appropriate documentation.
Follow up on any items noted as needing corrective action.
Prepare maintenance operating budget for assigned shift and administer and control budget during the business year.
Maintain open communications with employees and work with employees to mutually resolve problems to enhance morale and promote a union-free environment.
Maintain conformance with Company policies, work rules, and regulations, coaching employees and/or initiating disciplinary actions, as required.
Enforce the proper use of safety equipment and maintain departmental housekeeping to produce a safe work environment.

What We Need From You
Over three months, up to one year of experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment
Odyssey experience preferred
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across departments
Degree or experience in finance, accounting, economics, or related field preferred
Comfortable visiting production-floor environment when needed
Able to explain financial concepts to non-financial teams
