
Machine Operator

Position Summary
As a Machine Operator, you’ll be at the heart of our production process, playing a vital role in crafting high-quality wet wipes and related products. This role is perfect for someone who’s mechanically inclined, detail-driven, and thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
Responsibilities
Set up, adjust, and operate converting lines
Monitor machine performance and make real-time adjustments to ensure consistent product quality
Conduct regular inspections of finished products and packaging
Ensure all output meets established specifications and quality standards
Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and minor repairs
Troubleshoot equipment issues and elevate to maintenance or supervisors as needed
Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, hazard-free work environment
Ensure safe operation of all machinery
Track usage of production and packaging materials
Accurately complete production logs, reports, and maintenance records
Document any deviations or quality concerns
Notify supervisors of low stock and assist with inventory counts
Work closely with production leaders, maintenance staff, and quality control teams
Assist in cross training new team members to promote versatility and strengthen line performance
Uphold strong attention to detail in all aspects of production, documentation, and product inspections
Demonstrate a strong work ethic and a proactive approach to meeting or exceeding daily production targets
Support team goals and contribute to a smooth workflow
Participate in training for new equipment and processes
Share ideas to improve efficiency, safety, and product quality
Qualifications and Requirements
Proven experience as a Machine Operator in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably with Teknoweb or similar converting lines.
Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with production machinery and mechanical systems.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and manuals, including SOPs.
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to product quality.
Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move materials, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks as required.
Problem-solving skills for troubleshooting equipment issues.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Adherence to health and safety regulations
Willingness to work occasional overtime as needed to meet deadlines.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, and operate machinery for extended periods (8–12 hours)
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and manual handling of materials
Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures, noise levels, and exposure to machinery
Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
Education
High school diploma or GED (required)
Technical or vocational training in manufacturing or mechanical systems (preferred)
