Job Title
Chief Happiness Officer (aka Caregiver)
Location
Clients' homes.
Pay
4–12 hour shifts: $16.00 per hour. 1–2 $ differential for short shifts (2–3 hours).
Responsibilities
Assist clients with daily activities.
Provide companionship and a listening ear.
Ensure comfort, dignity, and peace of mind.
Assist with bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and families.
Prepare meals or assist with food preparation.
Help with household chores and errands.
Maintain a positive and upbeat environment.
Offer personalized care that meets each patient's needs.
Requirements
Age 18 or older.
Valid driver’s license and vehicle, willing to drive up to 30 minutes to client homes.
Pass a criminal background check.
Excellent communication skills with empathy and understanding.
Understanding of the needs of patients at end‑of‑life.
Ability to turn everyday moments into memorable experiences.
Sense of humor and positivity, especially in challenging situations.
Accepted candidates include State Tested Nursing Aides (STNAs), Home Health Aides (HHAs), Medical Assistants (MAs), Personal Care Assistants (PCAs), nursing students, nurses, retirees, empty‑nesters, or others who wish to become professional caregivers.
