
Pre Op IV LPN

Complete Women's Care is seeking a skilled and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with IV experience to support our in-office surgical team on a PRN basis. This role is ideal for a nurse looking to supplement their schedule while working in a focused, patient-centered environment. The Pre-Op IV LPN will play a key role in preparing patients for procedures and ensuring a smooth, safe pre-operative process.
Key Responsibilities
Initiate and maintain IV access for surgical patients
Perform pre-operative assessments, including vital signs and patient history review
Prepare patients for in-office surgical procedures
Ensure all pre‑op documentation is complete and accurate
Collaborate with providers and clinical staff to support efficient workflow
Provide patient education and reassurance prior to procedures
Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant clinical environment
Qualifications
Current LPN license in [State]
Proven IV insertion and management experience required
Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills
Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment
Excellent communication and patient care skills
Previous surgical or procedural experience preferred
Schedule
PRN: 1–2 days per month (scheduled in advance)
