WELDER

Must be certified and maintained under the American Welding Society (AWS) standards for all position welding with a 6G welding certification, five plus (5+) years of on-the-job experience and be proficient in shielded metal arc welding (stick), gas metal arc (MIG), and cutting torch. Operate jig/fixtures for welding of sub-assembly details and operate power and free fixtures. Understand weld symbols and specifications as shown on drawings for purpose of welding.
WELDER

WELDER TRAINEE
Must have at least 2 years of experience, which can be combined with Vocation, Trade, or College with proof of completion. Must be proficient in shielded metal arc welding (stick), gas metal arc (MIG), and cutting torch. Perform all position welding in accordance with code requirements. Understand weld symbols and specifications as shown on drawings for purpose of welding.
