Position Summary:
Pellissippi State Community College seeks qualified contract instructors to teach commercial/industrial plumbing training classes. The role requires evening instruction on an ongoing basis in partnership with local industry.
Duties and Responsibilities
75% Delivery of educational instruction
25% Curriculum development (Utilize Plumbing Curriculum)

The College reserves the right to change or reassign job duties or combine positions at any time.
Required Qualifications
Valid Limited Licensed Plumber (LLP) or current Tennessee‑issued journeyman/master plumber license.
Knowledge of instructional safety practices in a lab or shop environment.
Minimum three (3) years of full‑time, verifiable plumbing experience.
Postsecondary certificate/diploma in plumbing or related field preferred.
Familiarity with NCCER curriculum and/or Tennessee Residential/Commercial Plumbing Code.

3 years
Skills and Abilities:
Minimum three years of experience as a plumber in a commercial or industrial setting is required.
