Job Description

We are seeking an organized and dependable

Litigation Paralegal

to join our Personal Injury team. In this role, you will support an attorney throughout the litigation process with around 60 active personal injury matters. This position requires strong litigation experience, attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment. Your contributions will play a vital role in helping us deliver exceptional legal representation and results for our clients.
Primary Duties / Responsibilities

Manage a caseload of up to 60 active personal injury litigation matters in coordination with the assigned pod leader and firm resources.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing timely updates and guiding them through each stage of the litigation process.
Draft, file, and serve legal documents in compliance with court rules, including complaints, discovery responses, subpoenas, deposition notices, and trial‑related filings.
Maintain and organize litigation case files both physically and electronically in

Litify , ensuring all documents, deadlines, and correspondence are accurately tracked.
Propound and respond to written discovery; draft meet‑and‑confer letters; monitor discovery deadlines and ensure timely compliance.
Collect, review, and organize evidence and supporting documentation, including police reports, medical records, and third‑party materials.
Review and summarize medical records and documents produced by healthcare providers, insurance carriers, and opposing counsel.
Coordinate and calendar all litigation‑related events such as court hearings, depositions, mediations, expert evaluations, and IMEs.
Schedule and confirm court coverage, interpreters, and expert witness depositions; manage all related logistics.
Track pending attorney tasks and follow up regularly to keep litigation on schedule.
Review and summarize deposition transcripts; assist clients in preparing for depositions.
Assist with trial preparation including creating exhibit lists, trial binders, and pretrial documentation; provide in‑court support as needed.
Conduct legal research and draft correspondence, legal memoranda, and simple pleadings using firm‑approved legal software.
Provide general administrative support including scheduling meetings, arranging travel, and coordinating conference room bookings.
Communicate professionally with clients, medical professionals, legal vendors, and court personnel.
Qualifications

3+ years of litigation support experience, ideally in personal injury.
Proficient in case management systems (Litify preferred), Microsoft Office, and e‑filing platforms.
Solid understanding of court procedures, civil rules, and discovery practices.
Excellent communication, time management, and client service skills.
Strong multitasking ability and comfort working in a fast‑paced environment.
