Responsibilities
Assist with management and administrative support for the Interdisciplinary Medical Sciences (IMS) and Pre-health Programs.
Provide administrative, financial, and compliance activities for the IMS and Pre-Health Advising Office; serve as SME to maintain awareness of program functions, activities, initiatives.
Work with Deans and Directors to review program activities, implement changes for efficient operations according to division policies.
Oversight of the IMS and Pre-Health Advising Office staff and workflow, including student appointment scheduling platform.
Prepare and present regular reports to IMS Deans and Directors – including forecasting course demand/enrollment patterns, Dean's and President's List reports, and other Business Intelligence reports.
Participate in maintaining central student advising data for the program and program committees.
Coordinate advising appointment scheduling for IMS and Pre-Health students; manage advising materials and new student orientation; direct students to program and campus resources; oversee efficient flow of student traffic, phone calls, emails.
Work closely with Administrative Associate to ensure high level of customer service to students and guests.
Manage IMS Academic Progress Check Workflow and organize all student records for the IMS and Pre-Health Programs.
Assist with finance and HR needs, maintain office supplies, act as travel liaison; enter Employee Action Requests (EARs) for the programs.
Collaborate with Deans & Directors to develop and manage IMS and Pre-Health branding online and print materials; maintain public relations materials, newsletters, website compliance.
Promote teamwork and maintain electronic filing system and up-to-date website as directed.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and two years of experience; or high school diploma/equivalent and six years of experience (post-high-school education can substitute at equivalent rate).
Additional Requirements
This is an A&P position.
Requires successful completion of a criminal history background check.
