Job Overview
Temporary to hire Electro Mechanic positions available in the Johns Creek area for a Medical Device Manufacturing Company.
12 hour night shifts (6:30pm to 6:30am) - Panama Schedule.
Basics of the position: Troubleshoot, repair and perform preventative maintenance for all production and cartoning equipment, including technical problems in mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical and control systems. Assist with improvements to maintenance system and technical projects for process upgrades.
Salary and Hours
Salary: $30 - $35 per hour
Shift: Second
Work hours: 6 PM - 6:30 AM
Education: High School
Responsibilities
The Electromechanical Technician is primarily responsible for handling complex tasks in developing and maintaining electromechanical systems, including troubleshooting, testing, and assembly.
Assist in equipment calibration and repair, requiring advanced technical knowledge and problem‑solving skills.
Troubleshoot, repair and perform preventative and corrective maintenance for all production equipment, including technical problems in mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and control systems.
Experience
Maintenance of full automated manufacturing or medical/food manufacturing
Experience with 480V 3‑Phase Electrical
Lockout and Tagout process and understanding
PLC’s, electrical and pneumatic schematics, 3‑phase motors, motor drives and cylinders
Hands‑on maintenance, electrical and programming
Assisting with improvements to the maintenance systems – Preventative, Corrective and Predictive.
Essential Functions / Physical Requirements
Working in a smoke‑free environment
Wearing steel‑toe shoes
Manual lifting up to 50 lbs
Standing for 8 hours at a time
Working up to 6 hrs of overtime per week
Working weekends
