Full-Time Nanny Needed | San Jose (Quail Creek Area) | Infant Care
A warm and thoughtful family in San Jose is looking for an experienced, engaging full-time nanny to care for their sweet 9-month-old daughter, A.
This is a long-term opportunity with a family who truly values their nanny and wants someone who will feel like a trusted part of their home.
Start Date: Mid-May (around May 18, flexible). Pay: weekly or biweekly.
Qualifications
Strong infant experience (must be confident with babies under 1 year)
Someone engaging, playful, and interactive (not just supervising)
Knowledge of developmental milestones
Experience with sleep training or willingness to learn
Flexible, adaptable, and able to grow with a rapidly changing schedule
Open to feedback and communication
Very punctual and reliable (both parents work outside the home)
All baby-related care (feeding, bathing, diapering, playtime)
Baby laundry & baby meal prep
Keeping baby areas tidy (no general housekeeping required)
Taking Ava out for walks & age-appropriate activities
Supporting developmental growth and routines
Baby is overall easygoing and a great eater
Currently working through nap challenges — patience is key! (Family is working with a sleep specialist)
No pets in the home
This family values structure (especially around sleep + feeding), but understands flexibility is needed with a baby. They’re looking for someone who can be an extension of their parenting style, while also confidently sharing insights and ideas.
They want a nanny who feels like part of the family, but takes pride in being professional and dependable.
Benefits
Guaranteed hours
No phone use while actively caring for the baby
Must be dependable, communicative, and receptive to feedback
If you’re a nurturing, experienced infant nanny who loves helping little ones grow and thrive — this could be such a special fit.
