Job Summary

Perform all types of meter services work including turning on/off, removals, installations, change‑outs, rereads, re‑connects, tampering prevention for electric and/or gas meters, primarily three‑phase meters on residential and commercial accounts.
Job Duties / Responsibilities

Work mainly with three‑phase electric meters on residential and commercial accounts.
Perform disconnects on non‑payment accounts; install and remove tamper prevention locks.
Provide excellent customer service while handling customers in the field.
Work irregular or extended hours, including outside in all weather conditions and unusual surroundings; be available for call‑outs and perform other related tasks as assigned.
Complete daily work tickets through the Mobile Data system.
Assist in storm restoration efforts as needed; practice and follow Entergy’s safety rules and procedures; attend monthly safety meetings.
Minimum Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Qualifications

Successful completion of the EEI CAST test.
Travel & Additional Work

Up to 25% travel. Be available to work additional hours, in alternate locations, and perform additional duties during storms, outages, or emergencies as needed.
