Experienced Truck Technician / Mechanic – Day Shift

What You’ll Do
As our Experienced Truck Technician / Mechanic, you’ll maintain and repair medium and heavy‑duty Class 7 & 8 trucks. You will diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues, restoring each truck to peak performance. Your work may include repairing or rebuilding major components such as cabs, steering systems, engines, transmissions, axles, differentials, brakes, clutches, electrical systems, and air systems. Work alongside other highly trained technicians in a fully equipped shop, continually improving your skills.

What You Need

2 or more years of experience working on all makes and models of medium and heavy‑duty class 7/8 trucks, including engine repair, electronic troubleshooting, HVAC systems, and chassis repair. Candidates with a Diesel Tech degree and mechanical aptitude/background are also considered.

Kenworth Essentials certifications preferred.

Basic computer knowledge; Cummins and MX software experience preferred.

Self‑motivation and assertiveness.

Ability to work under little or no supervision.

Excellent communication and customer relations skills.

Must provide own tools.

Compensation
$29.80–34.35/hr (Depending on Experience)
