JOB SUMMARY
Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of computerized building automation systems.
Perform DDC controls programming functions and troubleshooting.
Act as liaison to customer, and electrical installer.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Preventative Maintenance Tasking (Database Back‑ups, Control System Analysis, Network Analysis and Optimization, Central Equipment Controls Performance Testing, Customer Training)
Controls Programming (BACtalk and Delta)
Execute Service Quoted Projects
Troubleshoot DDC Control and Mechanical Systems
Replace Failed Components as necessary
Execute Upgrades
Consistent Communications (with Supervisor, Service Coordinator and Account Managers)
Financial Accountability (Service Agreements and Service Quoted Projects)
On‑call rotation
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Knowledge of HVAC DDC Control Theory & Applications
Experience with electronics and basic electrical circuits
Strong troubleshooting skills
Computer hardware and software skills
Ability to work independently and unsupervised
Strong communications and interactive skills
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Lift, carry, and move equipment and materials up to 50 lbs on a regular basis
Climb ladders, stairs, and access elevated or hard‑to‑reach areas
Work in tight or confined spaces for extended periods
Stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach throughout the workday
Use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment safely and effectively
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
Annual base salary ranges from $65,000-$95,000 depending on experience

CREDENTIALS AND EXPERIENCE
AA degree in applied technology and/or undergraduate degree preferred
Equivalent combination of education and experience
HVAC and/or Mechanical systems experience
Computer programming experience
Troubleshooting experience
