Position Overview
As a

Courtesy Technician , you play a key role in the customer experience. You’ll handle visible service tasks during our 17-Point Oil Change, ensuring every customer leaves with confidence in our service and a positive impression of our team.

Key Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and prepare vehicles for service

Drive vehicles into and out of service bays safely

Perform “Tech Talk” with customers as needed

Prepare service documentation and apply reminder stickers

Complete courtesy cleaning:

Vacuum interior

Clean exterior windows, mirrors, and headlamps

Inspect wiper blades

Check and adjust tire pressure

Reset oil indicator lights when applicable

Start vehicle and verify proper oil pressure

Return vehicle to customer and invite them back for future service

Additional Duties

Maintain cleanliness of the service center (floors, windows, lot)

Assist with general shop upkeep and organization

Participate in team meetings and training sessions

Perform other duties as assigned by management

What We’re Looking For

Strong customer service and communication skills

Basic reading, writing, and mathematical abilities

Attention to detail and a positive attitude

Ability to operate motor vehicles (valid driver’s license required)

Comfortable using basic hand tools

Willingness to learn—no prior experience required

Work Environment

Frequent exposure to outdoor weather conditions

Regular exposure to vehicle noise and exhaust fumes

Physically active role requiring standing, walking, bending, and lifting

Use of automotive oils, fluids, and related materials
