Qualifications

2-4 years of experience in a related role strongly preferred.
High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to be detail oriented, quality focused and self-motivated.
Ability to assist as a resource to other team members and is flexible to support daily operational needs.
Analyze data and determine the most appropriate solution to problems.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications, SAP, and AIMS Warehouse Management Systems preferred.
Responsibilities

Manage and update customer information, customized customer delivery groups and departments within SAP.
Monitor, process, and track the status of all incoming and outgoing emails and tasks through the outbound group mailbox, providing updates as needed.
Prepare and distribute daily pack lists to various customer accounts.
Communicate with commercial carriers to schedule pick up of shipments.
Process rush orders and coordinate pick-ups with courier service, confirm status of shipments with customers and carriers.
Communicate with supervisor and other internal departments on inventory accuracy and quality metrics; communicate with outside vendors to secure supplies for operational needs; log customer reported errors in the Quality tracker.
Resolve discrepancies and operational errors as necessary to fulfill customer commitments on time and within budget; communicate with Supervisor, Manager, and other stakeholders to identify root cause and develop solutions.
Develop and simulate routes for pick planning; print room tasks including manifesting routes, organizing shipping documents, and communicating with the transportation team.
Coordinate with Baxter and Penske on daily shipments, as well as off-schedule pick planning, such as holiday shipments.
Proactively identify opportunities to improve inventory control and operational processes and mitigate risks; provide timely and effective input into operational excellence initiatives through Supervisor and Manager.
Perform all job duties in accordance with OSHA standards and adhere to all policies, rules, regulations, and procedures set by the organization.

Operations is responsible for materials handling and product distribution in a distribution or manufacturing environment. Includes warehousing and fulfillment of materials and products, transportation, inventory management as well as demand, supply and manufacturing planning.
Job Summary

The Senior Coordinator Transportation works in outbound warehouse operations and is responsible for the management of all orders via the order warehouse management system, email and telephone. This job prioritizes orders based on customer demands and collaborates with the dispatch team to determine optimal transport methods (private fleet, courier, etc.). The Senior Coordinator Transportation clusters orders and strategically issues them to the warehouse for picking/ packing in an effort to effectively manage capacity. This role collaborates cross‑functionally with sales representatives and marketing to meet the needs of the customer and maintain customer satisfaction and quality standards.
