Maintenance Technician

Super Products LLC, an Alamo Group Company, is a growing manufacturing company based in Mukwonago, WI, with nationwide rental store facilities. The company designs and manufactures high‑quality vacuum truck equipment since 1972.

Position Summary
Under general supervision, installs, maintains and repairs machinery, equipment, and physical structures for the manufacturing facilities. Follows blueprints, manuals and schematic drawings, performs general diagnosis and troubleshooting to maintain production levels.

Essential Functions

Visually inspect and test machinery and equipment using electrical and electronic test equipment.

Perform preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment following an established schedule.

Conduct daily, weekly, monthly and annual inspections of machinery and equipment as scheduled.

Install, diagnose and troubleshoot equipment using detailed failure analysis to maintain production levels.

Identify defective machines and equipment and install new or repaired parts following specifications and blueprints, using precision measuring instruments and hand tools.

Strictly adhere to all established safety procedures and wear required PPE without fail.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Knowledge of machines, tools, including their design, uses, repair and maintenance.

Experience with CMMS and knowledge of preventive and routine maintenance of equipment.

Knowledge of basic conveyor system repair (blast / paint booth systems).

Basic vehicle maintenance and forklift operation.

Basic understanding of HVAC.

Knowledge of electrical and mechanical machine repair.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, operator’s manuals, and assembly instructions.

Hands‑on attitude and ability.

Ability to meet deadlines.

Ability to wear personal protective equipment.

Ability to work overtime and/or weekends as production schedules dictate.

Must have a valid driver’s license and maintain a clean driving history.

Education and Experience

High school diploma or GED preferred.

Three or more years of manufacturing maintenance experience.

Formal maintenance training or related technical education is strongly desired.

Working Conditions

Work in a non‑climate‑controlled metal manufacturing production environment.

Must be able to communicate with leaders and coworkers.

Requires Near, Far, Depth and Color vision.

Must work in an environment with noise levels at 75 decibels.

Must be on feet on concrete for 90% of shift and walk up to 75% of that 90%.

Must be able to climb 13 ft using 12‑inch rung ladders.

Must be able to lift, push or pull up to 40 lbs and carry that weight 5 ft.

Must be able to bend, stoop and crouch.
