About the Role
The Team‑Based Financial Advisor is a position that focuses on learning and development rather than solely production. You’ll work closely with Lead Advisors to receive mentorship, coaching, training, and support.

Licensing and Training
During the first 8 to 13 weeks you will study for and obtain required licenses, which may include:
Resident state Life, Health and Annuity
Securities Industry Essentials (SIE)
Series 6 and 63; Series 7 and 66; or Series 7, 63 and 65
After completing licensing you may enroll in a comprehensive six‑week training program.
What You Can Expect
After licensing and training you will begin building your book of business. Typical activities include:
Learn and understand the entire operation of practice
Participate in joint fieldwork to build expertise and learn best‑practices
Meet with new and existing clients to grow relationships
Solicit and sell appropriate products, complete applications, write recommendations, and service existing clients/contracts
Position products, services, and strategies to help clients gain financial clarity
Build proficiency in common advice tools like Salesforce, Money Guide Pro, What‑If Tax, etc.
Participate in events to attract new clients and provide financial education to the local community
Research and respond to client inquiries
Collaborate with Lead Advisor on complex scenarios
Schedule, prepare, and document all client meetings
Other responsibilities as assigned by the Lead Advisor
Desired Characteristics
Strong technical computer aptitude and knowledge of business tools (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce)
Ability to handle multiple tasks and maintain high quality of work while experiencing frequent interruptions
Ability to maintain integrity of sensitive/confidential information
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (military veterans encouraged to apply)
Successful background check, fingerprinting, and required securities registration or insurance licensing verification
Compensation and Benefits
Base compensation is $24,000 per year. Additional incentive structure tied to performance allows for significant earning potential. Compensation varies based on practice strategy, philosophy, qualifications, experience, location, and other factors.
