Mail & Dock Services Specialist
Lakeside Book Company is looking for a fulltime Mail Services Specialist for our Shipping area. As the largest book maker and book distributer in the United States, you will help craft books that end up in the hands of readers across the country.

Starting Rate:

$18.25 to $24.50 depending upon experience

Work Hours:

Days, 6:30a-3:00p

Location:

1799 Highway 50 East, Linn, MO 65051

As a Mail & Dock Specialist, you will:

Operate machines that automatically address, weigh and generate shipping documents according to zip code

Review shipping instructions to identify product placement

Unload finished product from conveyor line using RF equipment for correct product placement

Process and ship outgoing small package parcels for various carriers

Communicate with Traffic Coordinator or Operations to assist with problem resolution

Use forklift and pallet jack as needed

Stretch wrap pallets and stage for loading

Offload and load box trailers at the loading docks by safely operating the forklift

Work in a team environment and cross‑train with others

Receive training to help advance your career

Qualifications:

Experience in packaging, shipping environment

Ability to exert 20-50 lbs. of force occasionally, 10 to 25 lbs. of force frequently and up to 10 lbs. of force routinely

Computer and systems experience

Ability to learn to use a warehouse management system
