
Warehouse Coordinator

Purpose and Mission
Provide over-all management support for shipping, receiving, and cutting stations in both Exeter I and Exeter 2 locations. Responsible for directing the assigned workforce to insure all processes are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
(Responsible for overseeing, directing, and coordinating the movement of supplies, products, and merchandise into and out of the warehouse.)
Key Activities and Responsibilities
Maintain good customer and interdepartmental relations through service-oriented procedures & practices.
Process all customer orders as specified including packaging and processing of reports and documents. Insure shipment as per specified to meet customer requirements.
Maintains accurate finished goods inventory through cycle count process.
Insure proper safety, maintenance, and housekeeping of all responsible areas.
Provide direct supervision to Exeter warehouse employees.
Assist warehouse employees in the performance of their duties.
Provide feedback and guidance regarding shipping and warehousing policy and practice as well as feedback from customers, employees, truckers.
Maintain compliance of ISO and related certifications.
Responsible for proper training of all employees.
Order all warehouse supplies.
Complete knowledge of Warehouse Coordinators duties/responsibilities and must be able to perform these duties as necessary.
Communicate with Quality department as required daily concerning special certifications and deficiencies or irregularities found in product or material.
Must have working knowledge of all warehouse personnel’s duties and responsibilities, and must be able to perform all duties, which include cutting rope, stacking reels, welding beckets, making flemished eyes, and loading and unloading freight.
Responsible for the creation of SOP’s, risk analysis, and corrective actions for all jobs / processes within the warehousing department.
Assist Materials Coordinator with scheduling and performing cyclecounts on direct material inventories.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Skills
Interpersonal communication, organizing work and directing warehousing personnel, team building, managing budgets and resources
Proficiency in relevant computer applications (MS Office suit).
Familiarity with warehouse management system technology.
Organizing and planning skills
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Previous Experience
Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics or a similar role.
Qualifications and Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field is preferred.
