Maintenance Technician (PLC)
Randstad USA, Macon, GA, United States
Solve the Puzzle Behind the Power! Are you a master of logic who thrives when the pressure is on? Most people see a stopped production line and see a problem. You see a puzzle. You know that somewhere between the 480V panel and the PLC ladder logic, there is a solution—and you’re the one who’s going to find it.
We are looking for a Maintenance Technician (PLC & Automation) who is part electrician, part programmer, and total problem-solver. If you’re ready to work with cutting‑edge robotics and sophisticated automation, your next challenge starts here.
What You’ll Do
Decode the Logic: Dive into Allen‑Bradley, Siemens, or GE/Emerson PLCs to troubleshoot and optimize complex automated systems.
Master the Voltage: Install and repair everything from 24V sensors to 480V industrial power systems.
Command the Robots: Keep our Fanuc and Motoman arms moving with precision, integrated with high‑speed Keyence and Cognex vision systems.
Drive Efficiency: Perform predictive maintenance that stops downtime before it even starts.
What You’ll Bring
Experience: 3–5 years in an industrial environment where you were the "go‑to" for PLC and automation issues.
Technical IQ: Proficiency in Ladder Logic and Function Block Diagrams; you should be able to read a schematic like a roadmap.
Safety First: A deep respect for LOTO and NFPA 70E standards.
Flexibility: The grit to handle a 24/7 manufacturing environment and the shifts that keep it running.
