Overview
Our client is seeking an
Accountant with Deltek Costpoint experience
to support day-to-day accounting operations in a project-based government contracting environment. This role is ideal for someone with foundational GovCon experience who is looking to grow and deepen their Costpoint skillset.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare journal entries and perform general ledger accounting
Reconcile balance sheet and bank accounts
Support month-end close activities
Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and billing in
Deltek Costpoint
Support project setup, cost tracking, and expense review
Assist with audit documentation requests (DCAA / GAAP)
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
1–4 years of accounting experience
Hands-on experience with
Deltek Costpoint
required
Prior GovCon or project-based accounting experience preferred
Strong Excel skills and high attention to detail
