WHAT YOUR DAY IS LIKE
This is a full‑time position, Monday through Friday from 8 am to 4 pm, with occasional weekends or alternate shifts as needed.

As our Facilities Technician, you'll ensure county buildings are safe and functional. Your responsibilities will include carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, HVAC, painting, welding, and general repairs. You'll also handle custodial tasks, seasonal duties such as snow removal and weed control, and maintain parks and cemetery grounds through mowing, irrigation, landscaping, and equipment operation.

WHAT'S NEEDED FROM A FACILITIES TECHNICIAN?
We're looking for someone who can work full‑time while meeting the following qualifications:

High school or equivalent

2+ years of specialized training in building maintenance, construction, or environmental control systems

3+ years of experience in custodial work, HVAC, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, or related maintenance fields

OR

An equivalent combination of education and experience
